We work across a wide range of property types — from Victorian terraces in Croydon and Wandsworth where alcoves and uneven walls require fully bespoke cabinetry (see our Wandsworth kitchen case study), to new builds in Guildford and Redhill where we upgrade builder-standard kitchens with higher-quality units and worktops. Every kitchen is measured on-site. We do not use standard templates.

Our Kitchen Fitting Process

The full project — from first survey to finished kitchen — typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. Here is how that breaks down:

  • Step 1 — Free On-Site Survey – We measure your space, discuss your needs, and provide a 3D design plan. No charge, no obligation.
  • Step 2 — Design & Material Selection – You choose from FSC-certified wood, high-gloss acrylics, quartz, or solid timber worktops. We finalise drawings and confirm the quote in writing.
  • Step 3 — Materials Ordered & Scheduled – Once you approve, we order materials and book your installation slot. This stage typically takes 1–3 weeks depending on material lead times.
  • Step 4 — On-Site Installation – Our certified fitters complete the physical installation in 3 to 5 days on-site. Complex projects involving plumbing changes or structural modifications may run to 7 days.
  • Step 5 — Handover & Aftercare – Final check, adjustments, clean-down, and a full walkthrough with you before we leave.

FAQs for Kitchen Fitters

  • Q: How long does the whole project take?
A: From first survey to finished kitchen, most projects take 2 to 4 weeks. The on-site installation itself takes 3 to 5 days. The rest of the time covers design sign-off, material ordering, and scheduling.
  • Q: Do you handle plumbing and electrics?
A: Yes. We coordinate with certified plumbers and electricians as part of the project. You deal with one point of contact throughout.
  • Q: Can you match my existing flooring or tiles?
A: In most cases yes. Bring a sample to the survey and we will confirm whether we can replicate the finish or recommend a close match.
  • Q: Do you work in Victorian and period properties?
A: Yes — and it is where much of our experience lies. Older homes in Croydon, Sutton, and across Surrey have alcoves, uneven walls, and non-standard dimensions that require fully bespoke cabinetry. We measure everything on-site and never use standard templates.
  • Q: What worktop materials do you supply?
A: We supply and fit solid oak, walnut, quartz composite, painted FSC MDF, and high-gloss acrylic. We advise on the best option for your lifestyle and property type at the survey stage.
  • Q: Is there a warranty on the installation?
A: Yes — 5-year warranty on all installations, plus free adjustments (hinges, handles, alignment) within 6 months of completion.
